The Ship -
Celebrity Cruise line is Royal Caribbean’s classier cousin and has always been noted for good service and food. The Millennium is a mid-sized ship (91,000 tons) by today’s megaship standards. A smaller ship on a classier line past the MLK school holiday week should give us a sailing with a much lower percentage of families with kids on board. This ship gives us the choice of several different cabin types that will allow us all to be located in a “hasher domain” area (along a dead-end hallway). Those that sign up early will be guaranteed a close proximity to the rest of the group.
Ports and Hashing-This is our second attempt to visit Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Our Destiny didn’t take us there the last time. This time, we’ll get there in style. Full details to follow on shore excursions and hashing.
Miami Prelube - Fly in Friday for a hash, pub crawl or drinking practice with the local hashers.
Falmouth, Jamaica - Located between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, this brand new cruise port offers lots of touring options. Possibly the port for the hash and beach party (that Babe will NOT be haring).
Georgetown, Grand Cayman - One of the most popular diving and snorkeling spots in the entire Caribbean. Hang out of the beach or go to Hell. Snorkel with the stingrays or possibly hash with the Cayman Hashers.
Orlando Postlube – Some of us will be driving up to Orlando for a day or two of playing in the parks.
Open Bar -
Open bar on Celebrity is optional and requires no minimum group size (yay!). It can be purchased online or onboard the ship. There is a basic package ($39/night) and a premium package that offers a greater selection of beer, liquors and wine ($49/night). There are also separate wine packages. More details to follow.
Cabin Selection and Pricing -
These are not bottom of the ship cabin locations. While supply lasts, all cabins will up up on the Panarama deck that offers a variety of cabin types all in the same area of the ship. The rates below are per person based on double occupancy. They include all port fees, taxes, hasher giveaways, hash and beach party. Open bar is not included since it is optional and will be purchased individually.
Prices are subject to change without notice and will increase as we get closer to sailing. Your deposit locks in your rate. All rates are based on double occupancy (2 hashers per cabin). If you would like to go solo and have a cabin to yourself, then double the rates below and subtract about $212.89 for the single rate.
